Meredith Paulin, MA, CCC-SLP is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist who has been providing clinical Speech Language services in the Marietta area for 19 years. She received her bachelors of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Georgia in 1999, and her Masters in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Indiana University in Bloomington Indiana in 2001 after which she returned back to her childhood hometown of Alpharetta Georgia to marry her high school sweetheart.
She and her husband have been married since 2001 and have 3 daughters, and a couple of 100 pound bull mastiffs. In addition to clinic-based experience, Meredith has had prior hospital based experience with feeding and swallowing disorders with infants as well with adults, and holds a specialty certification in neonatal feeding from her experience as a feeding specialists in a level III NICU. Meredith currently specializes in feeding difficulties in the 0-3 population, as well as development of communication and language in preschool and school age children. She often incorporates art, music, and play based curriculum into her daily therapy practices and enjoys getting to know what motivates each individual client.
On the community front, she serves as president of her children's marching band parent association and is active in a national charity organization with her daughter. In her spare-time she loves art, music, cooking, as well as spending time with her 3 daughters and her family.
Yessenia is an Acworth Native and a graduate of Georgia State University. She joins the Milestone Therapy speech therapy team as an experienced clinician across all areas of speech language pathology. Outside of work she enjoys singing, exercising, watching movies, and spending time with her husband who is also her high school sweetheart!
Yessenia, who her client’s lovingly call “Miss. Yessie”, is bilingual and is a wonderful asset to our Spanish speaking families. When asked about her passion for this field, she stated: “I love helping children engage with others and create social bonds through language.” In addition to being a speech language therapist, Miss Yessie and her husband are very active in their church community and are passionate about community outreach. We are so blessed to have her expertise, talents, and compassion as part of our therapy team.
Amalia is originally from South Dakota and earned both her bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders and her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Minnesota. She has experience supporting speech and language needs in both school and private practice settings.
Currently, she works full time in the Cobb County School District as a Speech Language Pathologist, where she is passionate about helping students develop effective communication skills. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling with her family, especially to the beach, and relaxing watching her favorite movies and shows.
She is excited to be part of the Milestone Therapy team and to partner with families in supporting their child’s communication journey.
Sheretta, better known as “Vonda,” is a seasoned therapist who is originally from North Carolina. She has lived in Georgia now for over a decade and enjoys roller skating, arts & craft projects, and planning events. Professionally, Vonda has been trained in ABA therapy as well as TBRI (Trust-Based Relational Intervention). She specializes in working with children of all ages who have communication deficits related to ASD or to any other language based disorder that may sometimes present as behavioral challenges and/or inappropriate social skills.
When Vonda is not at work, you can find her spending time with her husband and 2 sons out camping, cheering on their oldest son at his lacrosse games, watching a great movie together, experiencing one of the many fun things to do within the Atlanta Metro, or traveling to visit extended family members.
